Our Development Process
Personal connection and regulation are the foundation of our approach. With our equine partners as guides, we help you clarify your goals, explore new possibilities, and create a meaningful development plan to move you forward.
Equine-assisted professional development is a ground-based experience that requires no prior horse experience and does not involve riding. All exercises will take place with the safety of the horse, handler, and participant in mind at all times.
Our consultants are experienced horse professionals who are insured and trained in equine assisted learning and herd management. We are also skilled facilitators, trainers, and leadership cultivators.
Professional Development Sessions
Four one-on-one 60-minute sessions to identify your professional goals.Session 1: Explore and discover your goals
Session 2: Build connection and shape your development plan
Session 3: Skills building through equine partnership
Session 4: Expand connection and activate your discoveries
Includes an initial assessment and post-reflection assessment
Conclude your sessions with a professional development reflection and plan
Session package price: $300 plus GST

Refinement & Connection
A follow-up 45-minute session to refine your skills or to experience connection with your chosen equine partner.Includes a consultation session with Maitland Consulting to further refine and develop your professional goals
Session cost: $45 plus GST.
